USM / Nothing - Collaboration Prototyping

During Art Basel, Miami '22, ICNCLST/ curated World's Collide; a panel discussion exploring the relationship between tech, design, and art. To further examine the impact that design has on our everyday lives, the team brought in the iconic modular furniture brand, USM, to design 10 custom phone and headphone holders.

The partnership was in the exploration of the synergies between London-based tech brand, Nothing, and USM. Both Nothing and USM are known for their sleek, effective, yet minimal designs, making the brands leaders in their respective categories.The custom holders were designed using parts from the USM Haller Collection, each piece of the system is an integral part of the furniture construction and was configured to create one-of-a-kind pieces to be displayed on desks or elsewhere within the office or home.

The custom holders were constructed specifically to hold the second-generation Ear (stick), Nothing's newest product on the market.
