A lifelong skier, Friedman draws on the intersection of representational and abstract depiction, with inspiration from the natural world to craft the art across the Mindbender Collection. “All of the paintings, and the art, exist in the studio, in this box, but it’s all a reflection and interpretation of nature, so to get to see it out in nature is a cool interaction.” – Sam Friedman
K2’s most comprehensive and design-forward collection to date, the Mindbender Collection emphasizes performance in varying conditions and is purpose-engineered for cutting through chop and chunder, for the most planted, yet fun freeride experience. Friedman studied illustration and typography at the Pratt Art Institute and has presented solo exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
