More than three years after their debut, the first-ever and only public release of the Nike Dunk Low ‘Virgil Abloh™ x Futura Laboratories’ is here. The Virgil Abloh Foundation, along with Nike and FUTURA / Futura Laboratories, are teaming up with Sotheby’s to exclusively auction eight pairs of the limited-edition Dunks with proceeds to benefit The Virgil Abloh™ Foundation.

"It’s amazing to finally see the ‘Virgil Abloh™ x Futura Laboratories’ arriving in this fashion,” says FUTURA. “I hope to honor my friendship with Virgil and our creative collaborative work.”

The shoes, originally conceived of as an artist collaboration to be shared with Virgil and Futura’s creative communities as a celebration of the power of friendship, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of creativity, were an anchor piece of the memorable Off-White™ c/o Virgil Abloh’s Spring/Summer 2020 show in Paris.

The eight pairs of Dunks are presented in a dedicated online auction until 14 April. With a beginning estimate of $2,000 – 4,000, the shoes are being sold without reserve, meaning that opening bids started at $1.
